Kate Sanchez

In November 2022, Kate Sanchez was elected to the California State Assembly, where she now represents the 71st Assembly District. Kate is a dedicated mother, successful businesswoman, and steadfast advocate for parental rights and public safety. She has consistently fought against tax increases in California.

Kate has a wealth of experience working with lawmakers, having begun her career as an aide for the House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman, former Congressman Ed Royce. Additionally, she was a member of the California Policy Center, which sought to find non-partisan, practical solutions to the issues facing California's public schools.

As a working mother, Kate believes every child deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their ZIP code. She previously served as the Executive Director of the California Women's Leadership Association (CWLA) and is a graduate of the Marian Bergeson Excellence in Public Services Series. Kate holds a B.A. in Political Science and Law from Salve Regina University.

Kate's family has lived in the 71st Assembly District for over 30 years. Her office serves the cities of Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Temecula, Murrieta, and Wildomar, as well as the unincorporated areas of French Valley, Temecula Wine Country, and Orange County.
