David Gelman was born and raised in South Jersey attending Moorestown High School. Voted top criminal defense attorney by local and national legal associations as well as non-attorney publications every year since 2018.
David received both his undergrad and law degree from the University of Arkansas. Upon admission to the bar, David returned to South Jersey and served a clerkship for the Honorable John Tomasello in the Superior Court of New Jersey. During the clerkship, David expanded his knowledge and experience developing many professional relationships with area attorneys and judges that serve him well today.
After completing the clerkship, David spent a short time in private practice appearing in a number of local municipal courts, finalizing real estate and business transactions and preparing documents, before joining the Burlington County Prosecutors Office in 2013. While there, David further honed his skills managing and trying numerous cases ranging from drug offenses to robberies and murder.
David left the prosecutors office to start Gelman Law with the goal of continuing to provide outstanding service to his clients and obtaining them the most favorable results possible. This dedication to providing quality legal representation resulted in David Gelman Law being named one of 2018’s top attorneys by SJ Magazine.
