James Gallagher is an accomplished politician and lawyer who has been proudly serving the people of California's Third Assembly District since 2014. Prior to this role, he spent six years as a member of the Sutter County Board of Supervisors. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley and later went on to complete an Assembly Fellowship in Sacramento and earn his law degree from UC Davis, where he was a top-performing student.
In addition to his political career, James operates a successful law practice where he advocates for small businesses and farmers. He also works as a partner in his family's farming business. James and his high school sweetheart, Janna, are happily married and raising their five children in Sutter County.
